MadREP CEO joins Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program Board of Directors

Fields joins as the program expands into Madison Region for year twelve.

MadREP President & CEO Jason M. Fields has accepted a nomination to the Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program Board of Directors. He will begin serving as the program expands into the Madison and Milwaukee regions.

The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program currently is seeking mentor and protégé applicants for its 12th year of partnerships to foster business growth, economic development, and job creation in Wisconsin.

In addition to seeking participants in northeast Wisconsin, the program is now recruiting businesses from the Madison and Milwaukee areas.

“The process began with MadREP convening an informational session with a Packers representative and members of our Region’s diverse chambers of commerce,” said MadREP President & CEO Jason M. Fields. “Once we demonstrated to the Packers that the Madison Region had a need for this program, they decided to move forward with expanding into the Madison Region. I’d like to thank AFF Research LLC and the Green Bay Packers for this honor and their commitment to growing and supporting diverse businesses in Wisconsin.”

Protégé companies in the program will be matched with mentor companies that can provide technical, managerial, financial, or other guidance to improve their competitive standing. The program is open to all businesses, with a focus on minority-, woman-, veteran-, service-disabled veteran-, disabled person- or LGBTQ-owned businesses. The mentor-protégé relationship requires at least a 12-month commitment.

Virtual Draft Days will be held via Zoom on Jan. 14 for Green Bay area applicants and Jan. 21 for Milwaukee and Madison area applicants. The event will allow protégé companies to meet with potential mentors and discover if a match would be beneficial.

The Packers Mentor-Protégé Program is administered by AFF Research LLC (AFFR).
