Madison Region to benefit from announcement of certified sites

Businesses looking to locate or expand in the Madison Region will benefit from the announcement made this month by Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) of five “Certified In Wisconsin” development-ready certified sites in Fitchburg, DeForest, Beaver Dam, Janesville, and Beloit.

The selection of the Fitchburg Technology Campus-Phase II, the DeForest Business Park, the Beaver Dam 151 Business Park, the Highway 11 Business Park in Janesville, and the Gateway Business Park in Beloit demonstrates Wisconsin’s commitment to accelerating business growth in the eight-county region served by MadREP, the Madison Region economic development partnership.

A certified site is a development-ready site that has been reviewed and approved by WEDC as meeting certain development criteria.
