Arts & Economic Prosperity IV: Workshop for Arts Organizations
Presented by: Dane County Arts & Economic Prosperity Collaborative
Location: Overture Center for the Arts (Wisconsin Studio - Third Floor)
Time: 11:45am-12pm: Networking and snacks; 12-12:45pm: Workshop
On Monday, June 11, local leaders will release the results of Arts & Economic Prosperity IV, a new economic impact study documenting the effect of the nonprofit arts and culture industry in Dane County.
- What are the results?
- What does the study say about the role of the arts in our area?
- And most importantly, how can you use this information in your communications and in your future plans?
Join us for a special workshop prior to the press conference to get the inside scoop on the study and what it means for you. Then, stay for the press conference to show your support for the arts in Dane County.
The workshop is open to all Dane County arts organizations, regardless of size or study participation.
Please RSVP for the workshop by Friday, June 8.
The study was commissioned locally by the Dane County Arts & Economic Prosperity Collaborative, comprised of Dane Arts, Madison Arts Commission, Overture Center for the Arts and its Resident Arts Organizations, and UW Arts Institute, with technical assistance provided by MadREP. It complements the national study performed by Americans for the Arts in 182 regions across the United States.
