The Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin (WDBSCW) invites you to join the Mature Workforce Campaign and discover mature worker strategies being used across the country to devote more attention to attracting, developing, and retaining older workers.

WDBSCW kicks off the Mature Workforce Campaign with a three-part workshop series designed for employers. The complimentary breakfast workshop schedule is as follows.

May 14: 8:00-11:00am
Mature Workforce Workshop #1: Passing the Torch While Keeping it Lit
Karrie Landsverk from AmericanWay University will present and examine where we are today and what tomorrow looks like with engagement strategies and resources for juggling multiple workforce generations. 

 June 19: 8:00-11:00am
Mature Workforce Workshop #2: Diving Deeper
Karrie Landsverk of AmericanWay University returns to present an interactive and exploratory session using the Workld Cafe Program Design. You’ll discuss and focus on ways to engage and retain mature workers that aren’t quite ready to exit the workforce.

July 17: 8:00-11:00am
Mature Workforce Workshop #3: Those Paving the Way
In this workshop, you’ll hear from a guest panel of businesses of the challenges and solution that they’ve discovered while working to reengage, retain, recruit, and reposition a mature workforce within their company.
