Join MITA at the sixth annual global economic forecast conference and be part of an historic event featuring Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada Timothy Lane. The Bank of Canada – equivalent to the US Federal Reserve – sets the monetary policy for the entire nation of Canada. Speaking for the first time ever in Madison, Deputy Governor Lane will unveil the Bank of Canada’s 2015 global economic forecast. Mr. Lane’s remarks will be widely followed by financial markets world-wide. In this capacity, Mr. Lane is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s analysis of international economic developments in support of monetary policy decisions.
Following Mr. Lane’s address, Michael Gregory, Deputy Chief Economist with BMO Harris, will give his perspective of the US economy and growth opportunities.
