Big Changes Coming to the U.S. SBA Federal Women-Owned Small Business Program

Presented by:  Wisconsin Procurement Institute
Location:  Webinar Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm

REGISTRATION FOR THIS WEBINAR WILL CLOSE 24 HOURS BEFORE THE START

The US SBA will be ending self-certification of Women Owned Small Business this year. In summer 2020, the WOSB and EDWOSB certification process will change. Self-certification will no longer be an option, and women owned small businesses will have to either certify through SBA’s FREE online certification at certify.sba.gov or an approved third-party entity. This webinar will walk you through the new process and share how a WOSB or EDWOSB can successfully leverage their certification in the Federal marketplace. Many Federal government agencies are not meeting their Women Owned Business goals.

If you are a women owned small business considering entering the Federal market or are a current Federal contractor, you should attend.

Presenters:

Shane Mahaffy, U.S. Small Business Administration
Jessie Leonard, Women’s Business Development Center
Kim Garber, WI Procurement Institute

This webinar is eligible for 1 CPE credit.
